Nerds' put on a show

West Perry High School will present Cynthia Mercati's "When the Nerds Bit Beverly Hills," a comedy of the struggles Count Cosmo Dracula and his family face when they move to Beverly Hills and try to open a summer camp.
Between their unusual camp course of explosives, creature-making and brain surgery, and a trio of nerds arriving as their only campers, their camp is off to a slow start. When snobbish Sybil, her cheerleading proteges and their fraternity friends show up vowing to close down the camp and have the Draculas and their nerd campers thrown out of Beverly Hills, the camp appears to be doomed.
However, the nerds decide to stay and fight back with some unconventional "nerdy" tactics. The war between the nerds and the snobs is on.
Performances will take place Thursday and Friday, Feb. 28 and 29, and Saturday, March 1, in the West Perry High School auditorium. Show time for all three nights is 7 with doors opening at 6:30
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students with id and will be available at the door.
